Nach über 10 Wochen Ferien hat nun gestern auch für unsere Kinder der ganz normale Alltag begonnen: Um halb sieben geht’s raus aus den Federn, fertigmachen, ab zum Bus, Schule, zwischen halb vier und fünf wiederkommen, Hausaufgaben machen. Svea Nadia geht nun in die dritte Klasse, Nils in die fünfte und Ole in die siebte. Alle sind, glaub ich, ganz zufrieden mit ihren Lehrern. Nicht so zufrieden waren sie, dass sie viele ihrer Freunde in Parallelklassen verloren haben (auf der internationalen Schule werden wegen der hohen Fluktuation die Klassen jedes Mal ganz neu gemischt). Und pünktlich zum Schulbeginn setzte heute dann auch gleich das Herbstwetter ein.
Even Swedish holidays have an end! After more than 10 weeks our children started yesterday their school life again. That means getting up at 6.30, walking to the bus, enjoying school, coming back home between 3.30 and 5, making homework. Svea Nadia is 3rd grade now, Nils 5th and Ole 7th. I think they all like their teachers. What they did not like was the way their classes are made up this year, they lost many of their friends to parallel classes (because of the high fluctuation they mix the classes each year completely new). Just in time with the beginning of the school year the autumn weather started too…
