Denn wie so oft gilt auch hier: It’s all about community.
Reningsborg was interested in a deeper cooperation with our project and so they asked Karen if she could think of taking an available part time job to work in their facilities in Angered, working with some of their people in their project of reintegration into society. The idea developed at very short notice for us, one of the last days before we left so to speak. We considered and thought through during the summer. We discovered a number of advantages for both sides in this unexpected opportunity - as long as it takes not too much time for Karen. So last week was kind of a test week. Karen worked there at four mornings. She realized that she actually likes it. It definitely takes less time than her language classes and is even easier to reach as she can go there by bike. She talks about a warm welcome and lovely colleagues. We are happy about this way of establishing our relationship to Reningsborg.
