Gestern waren wir auf der Einwanderungsbehörde und dachten eigentlich, das sei für Europäer nur ein Klacks. Als die Beamtin aber sah, was wir hier vorhaben, wurde sie sehr kühl und gab uns deutlich zu verstehen, dass wir ihrer Meinung nach hier nicht erwünscht seien. "No, no, no!" sagte sie wiederholt. Sie schien förmlich nach Gründen zu suchen, warum sie uns hier keine Genehmigung geben kann und fand schließlich auch einen: Wir konnten keine Gehaltsabrechnung vorlegen. Im Endeffekt wird dieser Einwand nur ein organisatorischer Mehraufwand sein. Es war das erste Mal, dass etwas nicht auf Anhieb klappte - aber bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal...
Yesterday we have been to the migration office, thinking this wouldn't be a big thing for EU-citizens. But when the officer saw our reason for coming here she became cold and reserved. She obviously thought that people like us are not needed in that country. "No, no, no!" she uttered repeatedly and was looking for a reason why she could not give the permission. Finally she found one: We couldn't officially proof a certain amount of our monthly income.
Well, it's just an additional effort to get it but it was interesting to see her reaction. It propably wasn't the last time that sth doesn't work on the first try...
